Job Description

As a Brand Strategist, you will lead brand strategy for Ecommerce and D2C businesses. This role focuses on strategy, planning, and direction. You will guide teams on what to communicate, why it matters, and how it should be presented consistently across digital channels.

We are hiring a Brand Strategist in Surat. Join Aureate Labs to build Ecommerce and D2C brands through strong brand strategy, marketing execution, and performance-driven growth.

What We Want You to Do?

  • Build and refine brand strategies for D2C and B2C eCommerce brands, including brand purpose, positioning, voice, and personality.
  • Develop customer and market insights through research, competitive analysis, and platform behavior to inform brand decisions.
  • Create clear brand positioning frameworks that help brands stand out in competitive digital markets.
  • Design communication strategies that define messaging direction across channels such as websites, email, paid media, and social platforms.
  • Analyze current brand performance and digital presence to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities.
  • Recommend channel-specific content and messaging approaches based on audience behavior and platform dynamics.
  • Collaborate with creative, marketing, and execution teams by providing strategic direction and clarity.
  • Develop brand guidelines, messaging hierarchies, and strategic documentation that can be consistently used by execution teams.
  • Present brand strategies and recommendations to clients in a structured, clear, and confident manner.

Requirements

  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to connect brand, audience, and digital platforms.
  • Solid understanding of major digital channels such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, marketplaces, and D2C websites.
  • Experience building brand positioning, messaging frameworks, and go-to-market strategies for eCommerce brands.
  • Good understanding of consumer psychology, storytelling, and online purchase behavior.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain strategy clearly.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret insights and translate them into actionable strategy.
  • Curiosity and awareness of evolving digital trends, platforms, and consumer behavior.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communication, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3 to 5 years of proven experience in brand strategy, preferably in eCommerce, D2C, or digital-first brands.
  • A portfolio or case studies showcasing strategic thinking and successful brand projects is required.
