Aureate Labs is shaping the new age of B2C & D2C eCommerce by designing and building breakthrough experiences and helping brands help their customers buy better. We are expanding, and we’re looking for a WordPress Developer to be part of our engineering team. You will be responsible for building and customizing websites, themes, and plugins that are fast, scalable, and secure, helping us deliver top-tier web experiences for global eCommerce brands.

What We Want You to Do

• Build and maintain WordPress websites using custom themes and page builders.
  
• Develop custom plugins or extend existing plugins as per project requirements.
  
• Translate Figma/PSD files into responsive WordPress layouts.
  
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, content creators, and project managers to ensure smooth execution.
  
• Optimize websites for performance, speed, and SEO best practices.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, plugin conflicts, and server issues.
  
• Stay updated with WordPress core updates, tools, and emerging trends.
  
• Maintain code quality, consistency, and documentation.

Technical Skills You Should Have

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in WordPress development.
  
• Solid understanding of WordPress core, theme structure, and plugin architecture.
  
• Proficient in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  
• Experience with Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg block editor.
  
• Familiarity with WooCommerce and other WordPress-based eCommerce plugins.
  
• Experience with Git version control and deployment tools.
  
• Knowledge of REST APIs and third-party integrations.
  
• Understanding of on-page SEO, Core Web Vitals, and performance optimization.
  
• Familiarity with cross-browser compatibility and responsive design principles.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of Front End development experience
