Best Online Cabinet was established in 2012 with the goal of providing homeowners, builders, and remodelers with a simple, contemporary, and economical way to select the best cabinets for their projects. Best Online Cabinets cabinetry factories are situated in China and Vietnam, respectively. Best Online Cabinet is known for providing cabinets with the highest quality availability and options to their customers through the convenience of online shopping.
Challenges
Best Online Cabinet, which sells premium pre-assembled and RTA (ready-to-assemble) cabinets, wanted to change its frontend technology to give their customers a better shopping experience. Their conversion rates were suffering as a result of the poor user experience.
The company’s customer-centric approach allowed them to identify the issues that its customers encounter during their shopping journey. They realized that, in order to provide a better customer experience, they needed to change frontend technology while keeping their unique shopping flow in mind
Product discovery was the show-stopper difficulty that hampered the user’s flow. The factors leading to it were the sluggish loading website with extensive categories, high quality photographs, bespoke sliders, and so on.
Based on their choices in the shopping flow, the customers were redirected to various sections and pages. Internal redirections were time consuming and had a negative influence on conversion rates.
And the last in the list was the check-out process; clients had waited far too long to place their orders and process their payments. Even changing the shipping address was difficult for the customers.
Solution
The online shopping experience had always been crucial for Best Online Cabinet and therefore it opted for a headless approach using Alokai (Formerly Vue Storefront) frontend on top of Magento 2 instead of Magento’s default PWA Studio.
Best Online Cabinets required a dynamic, future-proof frontend solution that could meet the company’s future business goals while also keeping up with the demands of its customers.
We covered all necessary business functions, and those that Alokai (Formerly Vue Storefront) did not support by default were built from scratch and seamlessly integrated into the Alokai (Formerly Vue Storefront) platform.
Our efforts led to the creation of a front-end that meets Best Online Cabinet’s specific business requirements. This contained an instant switch between normal and RTA categories without flickering, category comparison, panorama view, promotional sales by category, and so on.
