Business Development Executive

Job Description

As a BDE, you will drive lead generation and outreach for Aureate Labs. Your role includes identifying potential clients, initiating conversations, qualifying leads, and scheduling discovery calls for the sales team. You will manage lead data in  support proposal creation, and collaborate with sales and marketing on outreach campaigns. This position requires strong communication skills, an understanding of IT/eCommerce services, and a proactive mindset to help accelerate our business growth.

What We Want You to Do?

Prospecting & Lead Generation

  • Identify and research potential clients — eCommerce brands, D2C startups, Shopify/Magento store owners, and digital-first businesses across India, US, UK, and Australia.
  • Build and maintain a structured prospect database using LinkedIn, Apollo, Lusha, industry directories, and manual research.
  • Map decision-makers: Founders, CMOs, Heads of Marketing, Growth Leads, and Digital Managers.

Outreach & Pipeline Building

  • Execute personalized outbound outreach via LinkedIn, email sequences, WhatsApp, and cold calls.
  • Initiate conversations, qualify interest, and book discovery calls for the senior team.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up cadence across all prospects.

Sales Support & Coordination

  • Prepare pitch decks, service proposals, and agency capability documents in coordination with the marketing team.
  • Participate in discovery calls and assist in proposal creation.
  • Coordinate smooth handover of qualified leads to account management.

Reporting

  • Log all outreach activities, pipeline status, and lead progress
  • Track weekly KPIs: leads contacted, meetings booked, proposals sent, conversions.
  • Share weekly pipeline reports with leadership.

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication in English.
  • Comfort with cold outreach and speaking with senior decision-makers.
  • Working knowledge of LinkedIn outreach and email prospecting tools (Apollo, Hunter, or similar).
  • Organized, self-driven, and target-oriented.
  • Understanding of digital marketing services: SEO, paid ads, email marketing, CRO.
  • Familiarity with Shopify/Magento eCommerce ecosystem.
  • Basic understanding of AI tools used in marketing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
  • 1 – 3 years of experience in business development, inside sales, or lead generation – preferably in a digital marketing agency or SaaS environment.
